Here’s a conversation I had with 3-year-old Franco one morning while I was washing his face.
Me: Franco, I think you got your eyebrows from Daddy, but your eyes from Mommy.
Franco: I got them from God.
Me: How did you know that?
Franco: Mommy, I just know.
I was stunned. I can’t take credit for his religious knowledge. Maybe it’s from my parents? Or like Franco said, he just knows?! This kid…he’s a gift from God. I am so blessed to be his mommy.
The picture above is from Salvation Mountain which is 90 minutes away from Palm Springs. We’re heading to Palm Springs next week and I’d love to go if possible, except the weather forecast is for highs in the 100s. That kind of heat requires lounging by the pool all day, every day.
