Last month, on Thursday November 2, I flew down to spend a single day with my LA-based high school friends and see Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrors exhibit at the Broad museum. It was a luxurious treat to myself, and totally worth it! Not that flights to LA are expensive, but still, a quick out-and-back is rare.
Getting tickets to the exhibit was like winning the lottery, but I am always up for the challenge! The art was interactive and impressive. I highly recommend checking Yayoi Kusama out. She’s a true visionary.
Beforehand, we had lunch at Otium next door which looked like it was full of very important people–VIPs who need to stay thin since the food wasn’t filling. I was still hungry after we’d spent a fortune. After the exhibit, we took the cute Angels Flight funicular down to Grand Central Market, where we should have eaten lunch instead!
A day-long adventure with life-long friends.

I’ve been thinking so much about you, so it was so nice to have you stop by today 🙂 Sending all my love to you and your family this holiday season <3 Happy holidays!!!
