Happy Thanksgiving and the Best Way to Sign Your Emails

I hope you all are having a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, filled with food, fun, and family. I am under the weather, which makes me grateful for all the other days of the year when I am perfectly healthy. I am beyond blessed for this three-and-a-half-year-old. He is my everything.

Want to know the best way to sign your emails? Think of this holiday.

A simple “Thanks” has been proven with research to receive the best response rates.

  • “Thanks in advance” receives a 66% response rate.
  • “Thanks” receives a 63% response rate.
  • “Thank you” receives a 58% response rate.

Personally, I’m not a fan of “Thanks in advance,” but up to you.

Aw, hoping you are feeling better. Happy belated Thanksgiving and hoping you are enjoying, as well as relaxing this weekend, too 🙂

I can’t believe he’s 3 1/2! Gorgeous boy. I usually find my emails with a banks and then with an exclamation point at the end. I wonder how that fares?

I like that. Signing emails with “Thanks!” I might start using that. It’s like extra enthusiasm!

Happy Thanksgiving! What a heart-warming pic ❤️ Personally I use “Thanks so much” or “Thanks much” 🙂 I agree with your thoughts on “Thanks in advance”

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you, Catherine – hope you are feeling better.

I don’t love “thanks in advance” either, but I always sign an email with “thanks” or “thank you” – why not express your gratitude if you can?

Hope you’re feeling better, Catherine. I’m so sorry you’ve been under the weather, but ’tis that time of the year, I guess??

I can’t believe your boy is 3.5 already! Where does the time go? Gorgeous photo of you both <3

I like signing off with "Best" but maybe I should switch it up a bit. "Thanks in advance" always sounds so robotic to me though!

Charlotte, I used to sign my emails “Best” as well! Maybe switch it up and track your response rate! Let’s use data to see which fares better.
