Happy 3rd Birthday Franco

My baby Franco celebrated his 3rd birthday at Bladium in Alameda yesterday with friends his age.

I highly recommend Bladium for a kid’s birthday party as the event was completely turn-key. We had two staff members who watched over the kids on the inflatables, led soccer and basketball, and helped us throughout the event by unloading and loading up our car, serving the cake, cleaning up a peepee accident(!), and allowing the parents to talk! It’s the most relaxed I’ve ever been for one of Franco’s birthdays.

At 3 years old, Franco is quite the daredevil, climbing up onto the sides of the inflatable. He’s not shy and extremely conversational with almost perfect enunciation. He’s obsessed with planes, trains, and ships.

I love this kid so much, it hurts. While reading one of his birthday books last night, he insisted, “I will read it. Mommy, you don’t know,” as if I’m an illiterate dunce! Hello, kiddo, your mommy was an English major!
