It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…which means it’s time for holiday cards.
Because I’m the least photogenic person in the world, I’m very dismissive of selfies or any pictures of myself. But when it comes to Christmas cards, I try to remember what my friend’s mother said.
When my friend GR passed away, his mother considered it her most treasured possession the pictures from a family photo session they had done. GR died unexpectedly soon after, which serves as a reminder to me to capture the memories of loved ones.
We sent out 131 cards last year and received 44, for a total return of 33%. What do you think? Is that a good return rate? Haha! With the stress of the holidays, I do consider scaling back or skipping a year, but I think they bring such joy. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love getting cards and seeing everyone’s shiny faces. It’s mailbox bliss!
Here is a sample with a picture of my extended family using Tiny Prints Holiday Cards. Isn’t it gorgeous and so classic?
Do you send out cards this time of year? Do you love getting them as much as I do?

Love your card and I always use Tiny Prints btw and just actually got the one I made up with them sent to me today. Can’t wait to send it out to all my friends and family now, as well 🙂

I have never used Tiny Prints before, but they are great. Couldn’t beat the pricing either!

I love getting your holiday card every year, CG! I don’t get many cards, but I treasure every single one that I do. Your card this year is GORGEOUS, what a great idea!

I do like holiday cards, but I am not sending them for the first time in many years. We couldn’t get a good family photo, and I put too much pressure on myself to make it perfect. Yours is fabulous though – thank you for sharing!
