Gacad Family Reunion

reunion1 Wanted to share pictures from a recent family reunion at Lake Elizabeth Central Park in Fremont, CA. My dad is 1 of 10 (one of whom is deceased). 6 siblings attended the reunion and children (us cousins) from 7 siblings were represented. It was a great turnout–our first official family reunion since weย are spread throughout the world and haven’t all gotten together in a long time. The joke was, “We made this happen and no one had to die!”

There was a heckuva lot of food, a lot of drinking, a pinata and funny games. If you scroll down to the all girl picture, you’ll see me, my sister behind me, and some of my cousins. I think we have a very similar look. Clearly we’re related. We’re going to make it an annual tradition. Yay! Love my very expansive Filipino family.

1 of 10! WOW. That’s a huge family. And this is a huge family reunion. I would love one like that. Too bad I don’t live closer or I’d photograph it!
    I absolutely see the resemblance.

It’s so important to have these family get-togethers when you can. And, as you said, much more fun without someone having to die. ๐Ÿ˜‰
