Greetings from Sunny California

I’ve got a backlog of photos that I need to share. Given that the rest of the country is in bad shape, weather-wise, I thought to post some sunny pictures of our Golden State. It’s 74 degrees in San Francisco today, but the pictures below are from the Batteries to Bluffs hike that Dean and I did on Presidents Day last month.

I am really itching for a vacation. We are still living in half a home (contractors working on the place now), and both Dean and I work so insanely hard we barely have time to talk to each other.

A friend is heading to Shanghai and I went through my travel journals so that I could give him a list of all the restaurants / art galleries / museums / clubs that I visited when I was there in 2010. I’m nostalgic for those days when I used to travel all over the world. But at least we live in a place like this! Can’t beat these views.

Gorgeous! I love the bridge in the background. It was 77° in San Diego today. Hard to beat this CA weather when everyone else is under snow and ice! You look great for having had a baby not too long ago.

Beautiful pics and it is freezing here in NY and just had another snow storm two days ago, so I am truly jealous of your 74 degrees and am truly longing for spring now!

Those are beautiful photos Catherine! You both should definitely plan a vacay to allow you both to reconnect with one another. It’s difficult when you’re both so busy. 🙁 The weather is warming up here this weekend thankfully, hopefully a sign of Spring.. Losing that one hour HURT but alast at least it’s glorious outside and that should help melt the snow. 🙂 Have a great one Catherine! -Iva

Definitely better views than the dirty piles of snow I see from my window! But today is fifty and sunny, and that snow is melting…c’mon Spring!

I can’t believe you were able to wear that tank last month! We were in the tundra here.
Always one of my favorite places on earth. If I still lived there, we’d have to hang out!

Beautiful pictures! Where’s the baby? I’m jelly of the weather there in California. At least it’s above freezing here in the midwest.
