Pregnancy Letter: Week 4

pregnancy letter week 4

Dear Baby,

We found out we were pregnant with you on Friday September 13, 2013. Friday the 13th is an auspicious phenomenon in our family because mommy and daddy met each other for the first time on Friday February 13, 2009.

I cannot believe you had already been growing in my tummy for four weeks! That means you were hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Barbella in Palm Springs over Labor Day weekend. Then we flew home to San Francisco. A week later, we were in New York City and that’s when we found out about you!

After we found out, we were on top of the world…literally! We shouted from atop Rockefeller Center, our baby is coming…our baby is coming!

top of the rock collageWhile we love to travel and do fun things, we promise to take you to Disneyland one day when you’re old enough. Mommy and Daddy have been wanting to go even before you were in our lives. But in addition to Mickey Mouse, you will see so much of the world when you’re with us, kid! We’re so excited to have you join us on our adventures.

times squareSo many people have been praying for you, your health, and your safe arrival. We are so blessed. We are forever grateful for the kindness everyone has shown us.

Baby, we love you so much and have such incredible dreams of the sweet loving person you will become.

xoxo,

Mommy & Daddy

Oh, Catherine, I am so happy for you. I just realized I had missed your announcement while I was traveling so I just went back and caught up on some of your posts. I am tearing up because I know how much this means to you and your husband. I’m sending lots of love and light, and yes, Disneyland is a must.

Aw, I love this, and congrats! Keep it up! I did something similar for my first and then let things go for my second…kind of regret not keeping up with it. I’m so excited for you guys to go to Disney with baby someday! Lucky kid!
