    Pretty depressing.

Here is one I learned (working in SFUSD you learn stuff), the city of San Francisco has the lowest percentage of families for a big city, also has the lowest percentage of home ownership and the highest percentage of renters.

You can draw your own conclusions.

I’m depressed by these figures. Depressed but not at all surprised. I have a surprise for you though…I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award! I hope that you accept the nomination. Go here –>http://be-quoted.com/?p=1455<–to accept your nomination.

Here for $1000, you can get a one bedroom apartment. For a house rental, it is usually between $2,000 to $3,000.

Oh my word! My husband lived in a rent-controlled apartment in the Golden Gate Park panhandle area for 13 years. It was a beautiful two bedroom apartment with a backyard. I think he paid $1,300 – no lie. I have paid more on the east coast for sure.

Sounds like it’s expensive and that she is definitely paying the price to live so close to the city.

OUCH! Worse than New York for sure. Luckily, when I visited, I had enough hotel rewards for a FREE three night stay at the Omni in the Financial District.

Yikes. My niece and her husband want to move to So. Calif. I saw on a salary chart California’s cost of living was like 33% higher than the national average. I hope her wages are 33% higher too. She is going to need it.
