Choose Your Own Adventure: A Comparison of Lyft, Sidecar, and Uber

Comparison of lyft, sidecar, and uberI’m so excited to share the news that I’m a contributing writer to Randi Zuckerberg’s Dot Complicated site.

My first post is a comparison of Lyft, Sidecar, and Uber – a ride-sharing service. I had a great time doing the due diligence. Who doesn’t love having someone pick you up and take you where you need to go? All these services exist in San Francisco, so I’m lucky, but you can find them in a lot of metropolitan areas. Take a look at my post to see if they’re available near you.

Mystery solved! We saw a few cars with pink mustaches on the grill in San Francisco and wondered what that was about – now I know! Great comparisons Catherine. I don’t like to comment with my FB account so I apologize for not commenting over there.

Congrats Catherine! What else should we expect from you as a contributing writer at Dot Complicated? I’m not familiar with the site so I’ll have to check it out. Oh, and SN: I literally laughed out loud at you semi-comparing me to a grade school hall monitor! That, my friend, was a read! Lol.

When I lived in SF, I discovered the wonder of zipcar. Actually, we have it here too. Sadly, we don’t have Lyft, Sidecar or Uber but I want a pink mustache experience!

yes, tamara, we have several car lending services as well: zipcar, city share…it would make your head spin how many options we have here. too many choices makes me frazzled.

for city people, having different options versus only cabs is such a convenience. you can decide what type of vehicle you want and how much you pay. it’s a great concept.

thank you lisa! it’s more of a metropolitan thing for those of us city folk who drink too much, and can’t drink & drive.
