The Bay Lights: I Was There

As the volunteer coordinator for Burning Man’s ARTery, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the Grand Lighting of the Bay Lights than with my ARTery family. We’re truly a family. I love these people.

Sure we were drenched, but we were soaked together. And sure we all took off very soon after the lights went on (I mean, we do have another 2 years to experience this). But totally memorable experiencing this together.

“BUDDY!” That’s our ARTery call signal.

Walking along the Embarcadero to meet everyone, I felt like I was at Burning Man with everyone congregating together and waiting to watch the Man burn. So funny.

We’re missing a few people, but here’s a group picture.
