I wrote a post about how I thought it was strange that everyone we encountered in England seemed to call their in-laws by their first names. But given new information, it seems Dean and I may be in the minority by calling our in-laws Mom and Dad.
How do you address your in-laws?
How have you heard other people addressing their in-laws?
Please comment and respond. Let’s keep the discussion going!

I’m not married yet, but a call them Mrs. & Rev followed by their last names. I don’t hear many married couples calling their in-laws Mom & Dad but I think it’s sweet & very inclusive! I wouldn’t know how to migrate to utilizing new titles. Interesting post!

I’ve called Eric’s parents by their first names for so long I don’t remember if it started before or after we were married – when I first met them, at 19, it was as Mr. and Mrs. To others, I often refer to them as “my in-laws” or “my family” or “our parents” or “Eric’s parents”. In front of the grandkids I frequently address them as Grandma or Grandpa. Never once I have I ever called them Mom or Dad directly. But my dad used to called my mother’s parents Ma and Pop, like my mom. Honestly, as long as it’s with love and respect I think it makes no difference what you call your in-laws.
