Fashion Friday: Japonesque

I’d written in a previous post about how much I love the Japonesque eyelash curler and how it had replaced my trusty Shu Uemura. They’re actually very different types of curls. The Shu Uemura is a true curl, whereas the Japonesque tool that I use (the Power Curl Eyelash Curler) kinks the eyelash which gives the illusion of fuller lashes. It all depends on the type of curl you’re looking for and which tool gives you that effect.

In addition to Japonesque giving me a better curl, it’s also cheaper than the Shu Uemura, and Japonesque gives you free replacement pad refills for the life of the curler! That’s $10 for a curler you can use for life. I have one at home and one at work. Truly fab!
