Those damn Living Proof marketers got me with their scientifically-proven claims backed by their spokesperson Jennifer Aniston. It’s less about Jennifer (although I do really like her) and more about their tag line: We are the science. You are the Living Proof. That is super catchy.
The website gives you all the background on the science and shows you exactly how to use their products through video instruction. As someone who has struggled with lame, limp, thin hair, I had to give it a try.
I got their starter package which consists of: shampoo, conditioner, root-lifting spray, and full thickening cream. I wanted to isolate which products actually work and which don’t. I started out just using the shampoo and conditioner. Does not work. Waste of money. Smells good, though. Then I tried the root-lifting spray and the full thickening cream. These are the products that work. I can honestly say that my hair feels fuller, but still touchable.
I’m not a hair-product person so I have no idea how Living Proof compares to other mousses or gels, but I’m pretty happy with the result.
