Less than 100%

I am not at 100% productivity, hence the lack of blogging. I’m typing away on my new Mac. When I started it up, I went through a 4 hour migration which apparently completed successfully, but I don’t notice any difference. None of my pictures or music migrated over. I think this means I need to make another appointment with the Genius Bar.

At work, my laptop was taken away for a full day to be reimaged and upgraded to Windows 7. OMG, it’s like grasping at a foreign language that you learned 20 years ago and haven’t practiced since. Nothing is where it’s supposed to be. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to turn off spellcheck in Outlook and have yet to figure it out! Nor is it useful when the Help menu does not sync with Windows 7!

Then physically, this is so sad, I have a hearing issue! Ever since I went scuba diving for the first time in Honduras, my right ear goes a little haywire when my head is turned upside down (i.e., when I’m drying my hair or when I touch my toes). There’s this hollow sound like I’m either in a deep underground cave or submerged in water. I can’t really explain it and have tried to simply ignore it since it is minor, but still freaks me out all the same because I already have issues with hand-eye coordination and an additional issue with my hearing is probably not good for my balance! I wish it would go away, but it happens at least once a day and it takes a few minutes for my hearing to revert back to normal even with my head upright. And when I talk during this timeframe, my words echo in my head. Brutal. More evidence on why people should lead inactive lives and not disrupt your body’s zen state. The less I exercise, the healthier I am. Swear to God. Maybe my acupuncturist can cure my hearing problem.
