The Burning Man Ethos

While Burning Man is technically a massive party for a week in the desert, it’s truly about building a community that supports each other, is generous and giving, and that genuinely believes in each individual’s creativity and power. Everything about Burning Man is magic! I wish I could take the spirit of the event and try to live it year-round, and simply believe. Believe that life always works out.

The people who wrote this email are living the ethos of Burning Man. The email was sent to the editor of the highly-circulated BM newsletter. It is classic. Stress-free and happy.

Hello Rabbit!

We’d be delighted to get some support, we’re still in Lisbon tryin to get a free plane ride to Reno, we’re tryin cargo airplanes and private jets also.

OUr project is Swiss Cheese, a roadmovie relating our adventures:

1 month non-stop on acid; 2 swiss burners tryin to get to Black Rock City with no money

We are Laurent and Sanjari, swiss burners, we think everything is possible and were gonna proove it to you! Help us to make the magic happen!

We’ve just decided we’re gonna be in Black Rock City Nevada/USA on the 17th of august, and we don’t know how coz we got no money, so we just surrender to the universe and also try some plane hitchhiking in the private jets terminal, maybe some rich guy will drop us directly at BRC airport? 😉

Our latest news:

So now situation is like this, we made it from Switzerland to Portugal, had some great adventures with the homeless people in Paris, and all the way through France and Spain and Portugal, where we had an amaaaazing experience at Boom Festival for the last 10days!

But our bags with ALL our stuff had been stolen at Boom, so we don’t have ANYTHING except the clothes on ourselves and our passport. And we need some urgent dental care.

So we don’t know how, but we’re gonna be at Burning Man (Nevada/USA) in 1 week on 17th, without plane ticket neither money but our crazy creativity!

Thx rabbit, we can’t wait to see you on playa in one week!

I have a shift with Emergency Services (firefighter) on 18th ^^

LOOOOOVE!
