I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of hiring a personal stylist. I’ve considered it, but I remember reading what a fashion designer had said about stylists. She considered it pretty pathetic, equating it to taking the fun, creativity, and individualism out of fashion. I agreed—at the time. But these days when we barely have time to enjoy life, I’m all for contracting whatever services you’d rather someone else do. Because yeah, that would be awesome if someone did all my shopping. Ergo CakeStyle which is a service a friend of mine mentioned. After filling out an online questionnaire and submitting a picture, your personal stylist will send you a box of personalized outfits. There’s no fee for the service and you only pay for what you want to keep. I just started the process so haven’t gotten anything yet, but I’m very curious how well they curate, especially for someone pint-sized. Hopefully more on this soon.

Can’t wait to hear what you think, Catherine! It’s definitely great to have someone hand select outfits / accessories for you. I definitely prefer to try on clothing in the comfort of my home then return later (which is a huge hassle.)
