Wine Country Staycation

I’ve been dying to go on another vacation even though this year was filled with trips to Italy, British Columbia, Burning Man, and New York. There are too many places to see in the world! But there is also so much diversity in our own backyard that goes unexplored. Even in Napa and Sonoma, there are hundreds of wineries that I hadn’t discovered, that locals don’t even know about.

I researched rentals on AirBnB and found this cute little cottage in Santa Rosa for $85 a night. No resort fee, no tax, no surchages, no cleaning fee. Exactly $170 for the weekend.

Main house. We stayed in a cottage in the back.

Santa Rosa kinda reminds me of Alameda. Love that misty fog.

Cottage we stayed in.
