LA: Night 1

Seamless 75 minute JetBlue flight from SFO to LGB. I love the Long Beach airport. We’re driving out of the parking lot in 30 minutes and that includes the whole rental car process. We love Enterprise Rental Car! Headed to West Hollywood for our first Airbnb experience as a renter. This centrally-located, one-bedroom is a bigger, better version of our own place for $99. It’s a little gloomy this morning so I’ll try to take pictures later on. I hope the sun comes out soon. We are renting our own place this weekend to an Australian couple celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. What a milestone.

Last night, we missed the Thai Elvis at the Palms Thai, but the food was the tiger balm. It’s no Mission Chinese, but surely better than Osha Thai. Go for the crab fried rice!

From there we headed downtown to the Edison “to go clubbing.” I get a kick out of that. Remember when we used to go clubbing back in the day? The Edison isn’t a club, but more one big ginormous lounge. Think the Armory turned into a swank lounge with plush leather couches and cocktail tables, candle lighting, and $15 drinks. Hard for me as a really bad photographer to take a good picture in there. Here’s the best I could do.
