NYC Day 2

I spent the day by myself while Dean worked. First very extended stop: the Public Library near Bryant Park. It is one of my top NYC points of interest. I consider it a museum of books. Can you imagine living next to a library like this? I would never come home. Growing up, I lived a few blocks away from one of the branch libraries. I spent many afternoons there.

Here are some of the best pictures I took of the New York Public Library.

Exhibit on the newly-published book Radioactive which was compiled by one of their researchers.

Next up: lunch at the popular noodle spot Ippudo. I was there after 3pm and waited at least 20 minutes to be seated. People, not sure what the rave reviews are all about. My dishes were super salty. I think they are using an excessive amount of salt over there in NYC. While the service is diligent and good, the food is not. Although I did like how all the chefs whooped it up enthusiastically as patrons walked into the dining area. Recommendation: skip!

    Hey Vixen!!!
I really like reading your blog! I used to work right next to the Library (HSBC building); it really is a wonderful place to just hang out. Nice to see you’re enjoying life so much!
