West Coast Return

I’m back! I know I’ve gone a whole week without blogging but I hope to catch up soon. I spent all day today catching up with work–and still not fully done. But I promise you’ll be rewarded soon. I feel I’m learning a lot from the blogging class. In fact, I’d say I’m already overwhelmed with all the reading and the homework! There is so much to know. I feel like a total novice, but I’m trying to absorb as much as I can to be a better blogger.

True story.

Yesterday, we had brunch with a friend of mine at a cute little bistro called Artisanal in Midtown. It was raining. At the end of our meal, he stated very matter-of-factly that our flight would be delayed by a couple hours. As if a little rain stopped planes from flying! I laughed and focused on positive thoughts. We got to the airport with little time to spare, only to find out that our flight was delayed two hours. Prior to my friend Amit doling out flight predictions, he had said–as a McKinsey partner–consultants state the obvious. Which all goes to show why I’m not a consultant. I’m more of a retard.
