Marc took me to his favorite art store in Old Town, Shanghai. It was a tiny kiosk with art work covering every inch of wall space. Stacks of paintings crowded the narrow walkway. Altogether, we purchased 10 canvas paintings that Marc demanded be stretched and mounted on frames.
“I got this!” I waved my credit card at the shop owner. The price on my billing statement was $98. We would have purchased more if we had enough luggage space. Here are the six of the ten that I brought home.
