Seems like we are always eating or drinking. I know, hard to believe.
This is the start of the week, Monday night, after 10+ hours of traveling. More specifically, Marc had a 13+ hour direct flight from San Francisco to Shanghai whereas I flew to Los Angeles first. Mine was a cheaper flight, but oh goodness, it took forever. Only way to get through jet lag? Power through! Here we are at the Xintiandi district. So fun and hip! Lots of foreigners.

Same position, different restaurant. This is Jean Georges, a French restaurant which is as high end as you get. Great view overlooking the Bund which is the main walkway along the water. The foie gras was TO-DIE-FOR.

Back atop the thoroughfare at Mr. and Mrs. Bund. Different building on Bund Street, same view. Do you see all that amazing food on the table? We had our fill and doggy-bagged some of it to bring back to our hotel.

Last supper back at Xintiandi. Must’ve been an eight-course meal, highlighted by hairy crab. Not really a fan. They’re smaller than crab dungeness so it’s a lot of work for not much reward. But one of our best meals.
