$chwab

Speaking of finances, Schwab called me while I was drowning my french fries in ketchup in New York.  After we exchanged pleasantries, I asked anxiously if there’d been any fraud on my account.  That’s usually the case (at least for me) when customer service representatives call.

“Catherine, you have $XX,000 sitting in an account.  Can I ask if you have a specific use for that money?”

“Well, it’s a high yield savings account.  I’d rather earn 75 basis points than lose money on stocks which is sorta kinda happening with me on a portfolio I keep with another firm.  And don’t even get me started on my shitty 401k.  But no specific use. Yeah, it’s just sitting there.”

The guy proceeded to walk me through some really comprehensive and detailed, yet simple investment tools on their site.  Schwab rocks.  I am a huge fan of using them for your investment needs.
