I get excited thinking about all the fun things I’m going to do after the wedding. When you’re planning a semi-destination wedding and saving for a honeymoon, you have little time for extracurricular activities. Every minute is preoccupied with whittling through my tasklist.
But come mid-June, I’m going to take writing classes again. Subscribe to the Economist, the New Yorker, all the San Francisco magazines. I’ll read all the articles. I’ve been dying to buy several recommended books on Amazon. Travel. I haven’t been to Tokyo, New Zealand, Israel, Montreal. Even then, I feel like I’ll still have so much free time on my hands.
I can take up a part-time job. I have a co-worker who seriously worked part-time at Williams-Sonoma–while she had a full-time job at my company! She doesn’t do it anymore, but she did for a very long time. How fun would that be to work at your favorite retail store?
I don’t plan on any post-wedding blues. Only more free time to have fun!
