A Loving Tribute

R1- 8AHere is the touching tribute that Dean’s mother wrote about her mom who recently passed away.  I thought it was so kind to include me.  Dean’s sister read it to us tonight when we were on the phone.  It’s so true.  This lively 91-year-old woman sent us an engagement card, birthday cards, and Christmas cards.  After some digging, I found the tribute online–the Liverpool Echo.

Mam, even though we lived 6000 miles apart the link between us was so strong, you never forgot a Birthday or a Christmas parcel for me or my family in over 45 years. The happy visits, the sad goodbyes, the wonderful memories we all share, that golden link we had between us all was because you kept it so strong, it’s not broken because you aren’t here, we will all link up again one day, so rest Mam with our Dad, our loved ones that have gone before, until we all meet again one day.

– Loving daughter Kathleen, son-in-law Tony, broken hearted grandchildren Maureen, Dean, Donna, Melissa, grandsons-in-law Jim, Ted and Cliff, future granddaughter-in-law Catherine, great grandchildren Taylor, Alexander, Samantha, Ethan, Bridget Rose, Spencer and Patrick
