We rang in the new year wearing white, popping balloons, and dancing to Latin tunes. Wearing white is a Brazilian tradition that brings good luck. I have a good feeling about 2010.
2009 was my break-out year. Literally, I stopped breaking up with guys and found me a hubby! Actually, he’s my soon-to-be hubby, but we’re practically married if you see us together. You should watch us microwave our meals, retreat to our laptops, fight, and cuddle-huddle. We’re like an old married couple.
We spent new year’s day eating pulled pork tacos, playing with kids, and watching The Hangover with friends. Good times!
Every year gets better and better for me as I learn more about myself and grow. I hope the same happens for you. I read something on a greeting card that I continue to pass on: May all that you wish for be the least you receive.
Friendship, love, happiness, and peace for this coming year.
