Products

I’m always curious about what others buy, what they use, what they love.  So I scoured my home and wrote a list of my products.

Head and Shoulders shampoo
cheap conditioner (I’m indifferent)
Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap (your body tingles and feels super clean)
loofah gloves
Neutrogena Deep Clean foaming scrub (for face)
St. Ives Apricot scrub (for face)
Colgate (I love the taste of regular flavor–it’s the only one I buy)
Dr. Tung’s tongue scraper
Crest glide deep clean floss
Acuvue contacts
Opti-free contact solution
CeraVe moisturizing lotion (I also use this on my face, but I don’t think I’m supposed to)
Kate Somerville goat milk lotion and quench hydrating serum (I switch up the stuff I use on my face)
Nivea skin firming moisturizer
Neja (local makeup artist) chocolate dream lip gloss
Shu Uemura eyelash curler
Nivea a Kiss of Moisture (best lip treatment–better than Burt’s Bees or any other chapstick)
SK-II spray on foundation (for special occasions)
ColoreScience sunforgettable dispensing brush SPF 30 (with zinc oxide–a physical blocker– because I’m allergic to chemical sunscreens)
Schick Intuition razor
I don’t wear any deodorant because I get botox injections in my armpits
Playtex gentle glide tampons
I take Yasmin pills straight through for several months, giving myself a period only a few times a year.
Lean Cuisines
Kirkland organic chocolate soymilk
Diet Coke or Diet Dr. Pepper
generic incense
candles from Pier 1 Imports
Dryel (I don’t take my clothes into the drycleaners)
Dryer balls (You can find these re-usable balls at Bed Bath & Beyond instead of buying dryer sheets)
I shop at Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, thrift stores, Amazon, and Zappos.  I am a big big fan of Zappos.

how funny – i just went online stock up on alden’s cerave lotion and saw you use the same!

fyi the pediatric dermatologist recommended it for his sensitive skin, so i’m sure it’s probably fine for your face 🙂

I love products. Your list is pretty lean, actually. It took me a year to cut the number of products we have around the house in half, but it’s hard to get to zero excess when your partner in crime works for Unilever. 🙂
