And I thought about what my acupuncturist had said, “I know it must be really hard right now, but a lot of people don’t think of these things as opportunities. It may not seem like it now, but this is really an opportunity for you to do something different, to be with someone different. Look at you. You’re gorgeous. Really gorgeous. You’re going to be just fine.”
So I smiled, even though I was still sad. I hear that smiling lifts your mood. I tried to power through. It worked. Because, then, the most amazing thing happened that very next day.
