My Man Slipped Away From Me!!!

You heard me.  This is the second time this has happened to me.  Did I mention a few months ago I was the victim of fraud?  That the totally cute black puggle puppy I spent over a thousand dollars on never arrived?

Well it happened again, but this time it wasn’t fraud.  I was searching the online classified ads for puppies like I usually do once a week or so.  I found the CUTEST PUPPY IN THE WHOLE WIDE FUCKING WORLD!  Excuse the cursing.  I mean, puppies don’t get cuter than this.  The ad was posted THAT very day and I was browsing it at midnight.  There were pictures of the pups labeled with their names: Slater, Steele, Sabra, and Sawyer.  I made a point to call the very next day. I wanted him and I’d pay for him up front.
The woman answered.  “Which puppies are you calling about?  I have boston terriers and puggles.”
“Oh, I didn’t know you had puggles.  Anyhow, I was calling about one of the boston terriers.”
“Yes, I have three puppies out of that litter left.  Two boys and one girl.”
I gulped.  “I have a feeling the one I want has been taken.  Slater.  I have to have him.”
“A couple just scooped him up, yesterday, hours after I posted the ad.  They’d been looking for a year, saw my ad, and said they had to have him.  Just like you.”
“NO!  You don’t understand.  I have to have him.  Did they call you back?  Maybe they’ll want to return him.”
She laughed.  “Oh no, they really loved that one.  I do have three left, though.  Let me know.”
And so my question is…do I get Steele who is not that cute, but cute enough?  I had my heart set on his brother and just don’t feel the same way about the other pups in the litter.
