The Saga Continues

Hi Catherine,

 

Since I have not heard back from you this time or any other time, I’ll just stop.  I get it, and not just now.  I’m not blind, dumb or thick.  When I called you this last time, I actually had a couple of ulterior motives.  First, and less important, I have a big Oscar night gala that I attend every year coming up, and remembering the pretty good time we had, when I thought about who in all my friends and acquaintances would be fun to take this year, I thought of you.  Secondly and more important, I remember how nasty we each got in those emails back in the summer, resulting from me being a bit overzealous.  I really hated leaving it like that, I just don’t like being that way with anyone and it has bothered me ever since.  That is one of the main reasons you have gotten the occasional email or call from me since the summer.  It wasn’t about me lamenting over the one that got away.  So again, since I never heard back from you, I apologize now for the nasty emails from last summer and any annoyance I have caused you since then.  And now I will stop bothering you.  I can just imagine all the steam spewing from your head right now as you read this; obviously you want nothing to do with me.  I do get that.  Sometimes you just have to let things go.  I probably should have a while ago.  So, like I said in my email at the start of January, I hope you are having a great new year and now I wish you a great rest of your life.  If you ever need anything, and I know you won’t, I’m around.
