Hillary for President

Hells yeah! While bussing home tonight, I listened to a jubilant voicemail from my dad, telling me that Hillary had won the New Hampshire primary. Wooohooo!!! This is so exciting. I’ve joined Team Hillary by signing up on her official web site: http://www.hillaryclinton.com. I also encourage you to take a look at her facebook profile and become a supporter: http://www.facebook.com/hillaryclinton.

Before the California primary, I plan on volunteering for one of the Super Saturday Phone Banking Blitzes at the San Francisco headquarters. I should probably stop by sometime this weekend to pick up posters and a bumper sticker. I think ‘Hillary for President’ will fit in nicely between my Burning Man bumper stickers.

I have to admit, I was pretty bummed about the third-place finish in the Iowa Caucus until I learned today that only one Democrat (Bill Clinton) and one Republican (George W. Bush) out of 40 winners have gone on to become President. Booyah! Take that, Obama! It’s called the Iowa Curse. If that’s the case (and the historical trend), not sure why political pundits put so much emphasis on the damn thing.

For my very favorite co-workers who read my blog, dinner was fun! We’ll have to do it again soon. And none of this fake credit card roulette crappola.
