This was the most festive Halloween year ever in my life. It all started the night of Wednesday October 24th. My co-workers organize a quarterly (I think it’s quarterly charity poker tournament). We raged that night, discovering a karaoke dive bar in the heart of Chinatown, then capped the late night with more drinks at some bar in Russian Hill. God, I was lucky I took Thursday off, but continued to party hard throughout the weekend.
I got shit-faced Thursday night going from one bar to another and meeting up with friends. Here is an email I someone when I got back into the office on Friday.

I AM TOTALLY HUNG OVER.
Nothing beats a night of watching poker, dancing, chinese food, winning credit card roulette, karaoke, then a Thursday off to wax my cooch.
Ended up getting wasted last night then having to come in today for an early morning meeting. I am so retarded. I should have taken today off, too.

Friday, Marc and I went out partying as you can see from the pictures. Then I left him and his gay posse for this raging Halloween party at a mansion given by a psychiatrist. It was so packed I couldn’t even find my friends or hear myself talk. I bumped into one of my exes. And surprised by the emotions seeing him elicited, I capped off that night crying. Fun-fun. Always interesting what alcohol and exes can do to your well-being.
Saturday my friend Darin had a Heaven and Hell Halloween party. He rented out a house in North Beach with a floor for Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory.
All I wanted to do on Halloween was trick-or-treat with Dominic. The whole family turned out: my sister Therese, her husband ronnie, my mom and my dad, accompanying little Dominic while he went from one door to the next. The rugrat was adamant that he carry all his candy which he could barely lug around, it was so heavy. Even at 18 months, it’s obvious the kid has a stubborn streak. My mom shakes her head, “He’s just like you. So stubborn!”
I didn’t think I had any stamina for anything but eating the chocolate Dominic collected, but as always, I can’t help the party girl lifestyle. Jen invited me to a fun house party. Lots of great costumes. I’ll post pictures. Then on to Slide and dancing until 2:30am.
The fun doesn’t stop as exhausted as I am. I love going out with my friends and ordering drink after drink after drink. We even went wine tasting on Friday. Goodness. I am considering going on a cleanse and detoxing starting sometime this week. My body is losing its luster.
Sorry for the lack of posts. My life has been fun and spooky lately.
