I love presents. Let’s be honest…who really gets presents these days. Their rarity makes them all the more special.

I did get presents on my wine tasting trip. Thanks to all my special wino friends. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend eight hours with anyone else.

Here’s the background on the limo. While at a conference, I happened to mention I was going on a wine tasting trip for my birthday. The guy sitting next to me worked for a limo company and promised he would hook me up with a great discount. It was a really sweet deal. He even had a present for me, but it didn’t make it in time for the limo trip so he had it shipped to my work. This humongous gift-wrapped present arrived in my office with a big green velvet bow. Four Riedel wine glasses—the best brand. So very very nice. Commonwealth Limo. Check them out. Their service is tops.

Also, I found out the other day that I’m getting a free ticket to Burning Man for volunteering last year. Wooohoooo! I can sell the one I bought earlier this year for $200. Tickets are going for $280 now. Cannot wait for Burning Man. It will be my first real vacation all year.
