Sympathy Card

In one of the stars
I shall be living
In one of them
I shall be laughing
And so it will be
as if all the stars
were laughing
when you look
at the sky at night

…and there is sweetness
in the laughter of all the stars…
and in the memories of those you love

– The Little Prince
Antoine de Saint-Exupery

“He who has gone, so we but cherish his memory, abides with us, more potent, nay, more present than the living man.” Likewise a quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupery…kind of makes one want to learn French just to see how it reads in the tongue of its author. Your choice is very touching and a wonderful sentiment. Here’s hoping that your pain is receding and being overtaken by good memories.
