I love Scrabble. My dad got me hooked when I was a kid. Until just a few years ago, I used to think it was a boring game that only old people played. I hadn’t realized there were major competitions and books written about Scrabble. I seemed to be the only one who liked to play among my friends. I found out my friend Jen also loves to play and when we played together, we were well-matched. She beat me by a few points which was one of the few times anyone has ever beaten me. We’re both competitive, too, which adds a lot of intensity.
Jen and I are both single, fun, and interesting. I put this posting out on Craigslist to find a couple male Scrabble counterparts. Again, I’m not looking to date anyone, but thought this would be a fun way to start the year…meeting new people and playing board games!
