2018 Best Lent Ever: Happy Easter

I made it. 47 straight days of blogging. Every day seemed like a deadline, but I persevered. Hallelujah.

My biggest takeaway is this: You can make things happen as long as you make it a priority.

No surprise there. Even if you’re the busiest person in the world, if you set your mind to something, you’ll find the time. If all of our presidents (with the exception of Trump) can find time to read a gazillion books a year, then you can do the same! Eliminate social media. Stop watching TV shows. Get rid of the fillers that are occupying your time and providing zero value.

I remember listening to a webinar and the host talking about a major home catastrophe (i.e., your basements floods or your refrigerator dies). You will find the time to fix the problem because it’s a priority. Do the same for your passions or favorite hobbies. Make the time.

That said, because I was on deadline to blog every single day, often times I wasn’t at my best. It’s hard to create excellent content every single day. It takes time and writing a quality blog post every single day while working a demanding job and being a mother is impossible without a team or more resources available to me.

I have learned that, while I can’t create quality content every day, I can actually spend 30-60 minutes every day refining or optimizing my content and site. I hope you’ll continue to follow me here and read what I have to share.

For the Lenten season, I purchased 5 caterpillars for Franco that we were able to watch in awe every day as they grew and metamorphosed into butterflies. It was a wonderful experience for all of us.

Lastly, I’ll leave you with a quote.

“I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be.” – Albert Einstein

I enjoyed the variety of posts, some do and some old. And I also think it’s cool that they gave you the chance to optimize content and the site in general.
