Before Dean left for work on Valentine’s, I said, “Do not spend any money for Valentine’s today.” Of course he did. He bought me a dozen roses, but he swears it was a bargain. He is such a cute stubborn puppy.
We spent Valentine’s night with our friend Manny who has been painting my condo this past week. Dean brought yummy leftover Italian food from work. We grabbed a bottle of Rock Wall wine called Romance (appropriate for celebrating the holiday) and heaved the vacuum into the car, then headed over to my house to work and hang out.
We will be back tonight and all weekend, getting the place staged to sell. I am adhering to my Lenten promise and trying to be pretty chill about it. My normal self would be having a total breakdown right about now.
This picture is the three of us doing happy hour at Soma Streat Food a couple weeks ago. We will be spending a lot of time together over the next couple days. Fun!
Listen to me: Do not buy a home unless it is absolutely necessary. And if you do buy a home, buy the perfect amount of space. Don’t be one of those hoarders who has an extra bedroom to store a bunch of shit. What a waste!
