Scoring Ohio and Texas, we’re going all the way to the White House. Hell yeah!!!
“They call Ohio a bellwether state, the battleground state. It’s a state that knows how to pick a president and no candidate in recent history, Democrat or Republican, has won the White House without winning the Ohio primary.” –Hillary Clinton
I’d like to attribute these wins to my blog, the phone calls I made, all the campaigning I’ve done. That’s a joke. Seriously, this is about believing with all your heart, to voting for someone who has worked hard all her life, is a spokesperson for the country, and can support her speeches with actual evidence and experience. The people have spoken! Congratulations, Hillary, on your victories tonight. You deserve it.
On a personal note, I’d like to give a special shout out to my bestest friend Daniel. We watched the early results together over drinks and dinner tonight. We educated each other, bantered back and forth. I am a die-hard Hillary Clinton supporter. Daniel is a die-hard Barack Obama supporter. But we respect each other; we respect each others’ opinions and beliefs. While debating, Daniel mentioned a horrible picture of Hillary Clinton without makeup that’s circulating around the Internet. He said he was going to send it to me, but didn’t want to hurt my feelings. That is true friendship and true love. Thanks for always being there for me, Daniel. I know tonight didn’t go your way, but I’m glad we’re able to experience this exciting election together.

I will say right off the bat; I am an Obama supporter. That said, what is so great about this election season is that it is so unlike anything in recent history. They say, “No candidate in recent history, Democrat or Republican, has won the White House without winning the Ohio primary.” But history seems to be of little relevance so far in this election. I believe that there have been at most, four senators who have ever become president and yet this time around no matter who wins, it will be a senator. The last time a senator won was Kennedy over 45 years ago, and some say there was a bit of funny business behind that in Chicago. Also, this time around, we will have a woman take the Democratic nomination or a man of African decent. In the past, regardless if I liked the history or not, history seemed to give a clear indication as to what might happen, but this time around it seems that history is out the door and anything can happen. It’s all very exciting.
